Market segments

In building services, water management and industry, we move, treat and control water. Across applications such as heating, cooling and air conditioning, water supply and treatment, and sewage disposal, our products and systems, depending on the product group, are designed for energy-efficient operation, digital connectivity and compliance with relevant safety requirements. Our portfolio also includes services for specific project and operational phases, which can be tailored to individual requirements. This helps us meet specific requirements in building services, water management and industry. We regularly publish information about our activities in the fields of water applications and business development.

Locations

The Wilo Group manufactures its pumps and pump systems at 16 main production sites worldwide. In accordance with the global production strategy, these production sites constitute Wilo’s global production network in the narrower sense. They are coordinated and managed accordingly.

In addition, the Wilo Group operates at a number of other, smaller sites. These include Sonneberg, Pohlheim and Chemnitz in Germany, Sanford, Florida, in the United States and Shanghai in China. Highly specialised products, such as water supply, sewage treatment and flood control systems, are developed and manufactured at these sites. In addition, products for local markets are assembled at a wide variety of locations, including in Brazil, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.

With this decentralised structure, the Wilo Group has a network of more than 90 production and sales companies in over 50 countries. Together with numerous additional representative offices and independent sales and service partners, Wilo supports customer requirements worldwide through its own companies, representatives, and sales and service partners, with the aim of doing so reliably in line with defined quality processes.
